Undercover Festival IV

“Big enough To Matter Small Enough to Care”

Undercover Festival returns, on Fri 9 – Sat 10 Sept 2016, with two days packed full of the finest alternative music.

Brighton Racecourse will be rocking the sounds of punk, ska, dub, reggae, post-punk, alt, acoustic and plenty more. Weather-proof, fiercely independent and friendly, this popular event draws together top local and national acts, old and new.

Although Undercover is the only festival in Brighton to have onsite camping, just a short one-minute walk from the festivities, every stage at benefits from being indoors, so even the worst of the British weather won’t affect the party. The nature of the venue ensures everything is nearby, so no long walks between stages, and parking is free.

Undercover Festival’s headline acts include The Selecter, Dreadzone, , Sonic Boom Six, Eddie and The Hot Rods, Peter & The Test Tube Babies, plus an exceptional supporting line-up that will thrill any music fan.

New for this year, BN1 Magazine are collaborating with Undercover to host a stage for the very first time, featuring a range of local bands alongside some of the best alternative acts in the country. BN1’s Editor Chris Sadler Magazine Editor explained:

“We are very excited to see such a diverse range of UK alternative artists coming to Brighton whilst providing our support for the local scene”.

Festival Organiser Mick commented:

“Being able to bring in BN1 Magazine is just right for our festival and fits into our belief that local bands are also an important part of this event. We have tried to book as many bands from, or linked to, Brighton & Hove and the south coast as realistically possible, I suppose it would be rude not too… it would be difficult to ignore the live music scene this area has to offer, as the range of talented artists locally is breath taking!”

“Undercover Festival is back with more stages and bands than ever before at our new home Brighton Racecourse.  We are pleased to be able to move to Brighton, a city that is renowned for its appreciation of alternative “outside the box” music, and we are proud to add our festival to Brighton’s rich and varied culture”.
