Go big or go home.  Sporting complexes offer a wide variety of event choices, whether your goal is to take over the entire arena or entertain during an already scheduled larger event.

The American Express Community Stadium, which has an average attendance of 29,000, and is home of the Brighton & Hove Albion FC, can accommodate everything from 1000 person major conferences to small executive groups. With a record attendance of 30,292 on May 2, 2016, the stadium can be an exciting place to host an event during a game.

The facility offers an onsite main line rail station and complimentary parking for up to 1000 guests.  The exhibition halls and award winning catering service make it ideal for a trade show or similar large event.  The field is even available for outdoor team building experiences, and there are a multitude of smaller venues for any size party.

Brighton Racecourse

Summertime is the best time for outdoor activities and events and so it’s a good idea to choose a venue that already has exciting events going on, like the Brighton Racecourse. Set high on Sussex Downs, the Brighton Racecourse has been called “undoubtedly one of the most picturesque settings of any course” by Channel 4 reporters.  While it is one of the smaller racecourses in the British Isles, it has quite a history.  A quirky horseshoe-shaped course provides a unique test for the horses. It has been a landmark for over 200 years. Top American jockey Steve Cauthen won his 1000th British race at Brighton.

The Brighton Racecourse offers several hospitality packages for groups of any size.  Each can include gourmet dining, various open bar options and tea service.  There are also added extras including tipsters and betting vouchers so guests can partake in the thrill of betting on race day.

After all, the game of golf, which gained its popularity in the 19th century but is considered to have been played as early as 1297, is a classic choice for business associates and partners to talk shop. At the new Jurassic Seas exhibition guests can meet prehistoric sea creatures that outlasted the dinosaurs.  Their state of the art technology screens also introduce us to mighty creatures that no longer exist in our seas.

The centre is more of a do-it-yourself venue as they do not have hospitality or catering packages, but they do allow you to hire outside catering and bring in virtually anything you want as long as it does not endanger or unsettle the sea creatures.  The vast array of underwater spectacles from sharks to rays to graceful turtles provides a captivating background for any event, business or personal.


Komedia Brighton
