Wild Life Festival brings the celebration to the South Coast for the second year running. After selling out 2015 in 72 hours and being dubbed Best New Festival at the UK Festival Awards, this year’s line-up boasts top tier acts and curators Disclosure and Rudimental plus many more. The festival will take place 11 – 12 June at Brighton City Airport, with tickets going on sale 11 Feb.
Festival fans won’t find another seaside escape packing this much musical punch this Summer, with Wild Life’s two curating champions backed up by an uncompromising cast of current and classic talent. Under the glare of its four stages, revellers will be in the hottest place of the British Summer, rain or shine with grime grandee Skepta, hip-hop Kings of old and new school Ice Cube, Busta Rhymes and Pusha T, reanimated hip-hop hit-makers De La Soul, champions of the club with Ibiza icon himself Carl Cox, as well as class-of-their-own chart toppers James Bay and Bastille among those on point to deliver a scorcher.
Further even to that, the elemental force of legendary disco outfit Earth, Wind & Fire are aboard for a masterclass in jazz, funk and R & B, with further headline performances coming from bass figureheads, Andy C and DJ EZ. Atop of all these, local collective and cherished community project the Shoreham All Stars will make their return after impressing organisers last year.
Also continuing will be the local box office program, ensuring residents of the area are the priority when sales open. Brighton City Airport’s Main Terminal will be the site for locals to get themselves booked in for 2016, Wednesday to Saturday week of on sale, with the bonus of no booking fees on cash only purchases.
