Wild Life Festival announces second wave of 2017 line up!

Wild Life festival – created by Rudimental and Disclosure in 2015 – announces its second wave of acts. New additions include, GIGGS, JME, PETE TONG, DAMIAN MARLEY, DAVID RODIGAN, JAMIE JONES, ANNE-MARIE, HANNAH WANTS, TOM MISCH and many more. The festival was named ‘Best New Festival’ at the UK festival awards 2015 and has received a huge amount of acclaim. It takes place Fri 9 Jun – Sat 10 Jun at Brighton City Airport.

Giggs, whose latest album ‘Landlord’ gained him critical acclaim and hit second in the UK top 40 will be heading to Brighton in June. As will reggae, hip-hop artist and producer Damian Marley – the only reggae artist to win two Grammy Awards on the same night. And UK top 40 singer-songwriter Anne-Marie will be returning to The Wild Life Stage for the second time.

Also announced is The JME Presents Tropical Stage. JME – UK top 10 grime MC and co-founder of Boy Better Know is joined by many exciting acts. Including none other than Wiley – recently named the “Godfather of Grime” by NME.

Iconic DJ and producer Pete Tong, named “global ambassador for electronic music” by DJ Mag joins the line up, after recently releasing his UK Number 1 album ‘Classic House’ – the biggest selling debut record released in 2016. Legendary DJ David Rodigan MBE, two-time Award-winner Jamie Jones and UK top 40 DJ Hannah Wants also arrive at Wild Life this summer. Performing on the Sounds of the Near Future Stage on Saturday is Tom Misch, a South London DJ and “one of the UK’s most exciting new producers” according to Mixmag.

Also announced is the line-up for elrow’s highly-anticipated Sambodromo De Brasil, a Brazilian jungle themed party with stilt-walking samba dancers, endless confetti and Amazonian party people bearing gifts, as well as other Brazillian delicacies. Acts to play the elrow stage include American DJ duo The Martinez Brothers, Jackmaster, Solardo and Joris Voorn.

Headlining The Wild Life Stage will be the Grammy Award-winning Jess Glynne, Brighton’s very own Fatboy Slim, and a Saturday main stage headliner who is still to be announced. Also featured on The Wild Life Stage line up are legendary ten time Grammy Award-winning Chaka Khan, two time BRITs Award nominated Zara Larsson and legendary drum and bass Dj Andy C.
